Design!

What I'm reading that I like a lot. As always, what I read is not a one-size-fits-all.

I have been talking with people at work about Design and Marketing and the other interesting things behind those ideas.

With one coworker in particular I really connected and had kind of some zen moments. We were talking about IDEO and how we both love innovations, and the design aspect of things. FastCompany came up, which is where I first heard about Ideo, and is one of our favorite magazines. It has been emphasizing design for the last year, which is something I have followed with enthusiasm. It was several moments of "Oh, I love that stuff, too!" "Oh, that's something I've been following as well." "Oh! I read that, too!"

All in all, it's been inspiring, and I love this blog that the coworker told me about.

Take Away Your Grown Up Card!

Today I look like a grownup, but really, nothing is working like it would for a grown up.

For starters, my hair is a disaster zone I've been trying to avoid. However, it gets compliments, which surprises me.

I'm wearing these amazing shoes, and yet, I keep walking out of them. I feel like a huge fake!

My food cravings today are more inline with an eight year old, instead of a twenty eight year old. I have been munching on crackers and rolls, and looking forward to some apple slices.

Tonight I'm taking my fake-grownup self over to look at some apartments. I hope my true, responsible self shows through!
